Gas detectors should be maintained and calibrated, in some cases, annually. NCH can calibrate most gas detectors onsite. Gas calibrations are performed using certified calibration gases and according to specific manufacturers procedures and specifications. Often most sensors can have life spans up to 5 years, but most should be calibrated annually. Our calibration services start at $150 per sensor not including travel or special expenses (if required). Calibrations come with a certificate of calibration which is often a requirement of OH&S or company Safety policies. Any sensors which fail calibration can be replaced or repaired by NCH technicians.
